Sighing at the womans response, he readied his sidearm again. "It's not a question of whether or not I love them now." He noted. "Do it." As he nodded at the door, she had all ready been a few steps ahead of him. She jarred the door open, and had rushed into the room so quickly that Snow would have had no misunderstanding about any surprised looks plastered across the half elves faces. If this woman had barged into his meeting room, he'd probably have reacted the same.
As luck would have it, however, they were in a second room, one that was constructed of concrete. He was surprised to take in a large number of half elves, dressed in various garb, listening to what appeared to be the leader. He had never heard of elves behaving in such a manner, and wondered what exactly it was that had turned them so bitter against the humans. If he wasn't on a mission, he might have stopped and listened too out of a certain curiosity. The man in front demanded the attention of others, though the words he was preaching were less to Snow's approval:
"My friends! Soon we shall claim this city for ourselves and wipe it clean of this cattle that is humanity!" Arching a brow he listened to the man finish speaking, "As you all know we were born of this pestilent horde, but we also share the blood of Elven kind, a race pure in heart and mind...." Unable to listen to more, Snow fired a warning shot straight past the mans head.
"Friends?!" Snow accused angrily. "Do monsters even have friends? Or do they just follow dead ambitions?!" Pointing at the other elves he tongue wagged loosely. "Listen to him?! Do you even hear what he's saying? You're no better than the humans, none of you!" He heard Ludmila's voice, though didn't understand her words while he was screaming at the 'clergy'. "Turn your back on this rubbish now and just go home! Don't be blinded by his words, I pray you!" Triggering his gun he shook his head in sadness as one of the clergy rose to shoot him. "I'm sorry, mate... I didn't want to have to do this." Pulling the trigger, the other fell to the floor, bullet between the eyes. "Any other takers?" He grumbled.
At that moment he heard another gunshot, and for whatever reason, the guns that were once aiming at him were not turned toward Ludmila. Risking a second glance, he realized that she had opened fire on the leader, thus demanding the response of his followers. "For the love of Balor!" He exclaimed, giving up reasoning with his fellow kin. While they were aiming at the rusalka, he took the opportunity to target them, striking them down one by one. "Is this how we honor the truce between our people?!" He shouted hoping at least one of the clergy imbeciles would change their minds, and give up the fight.
Their aim didn't waver from the rusalka, as another, sturdier, half elf knocked Snow to the floor, his gun sliding out of his grasp and across the floor. The sensation of fear glossed over him, as he remembered his training in the fae court. Of course they had been trained to fight in many different manners as soldiers, and this time it appeared that the fight would be hand to hand. The man brought down a fist decorated in steel rings, as he managed to evade the first strike. The man was stradled on top of him, and weighed a ton. Lifting his knee in one swift movement, he managed to harm the man just enough to free himself from his weight.
Having no chance to reach for his gun, he jumped up to his feet, bringing his fists to his chest and gave one hard kick to the mans chest as he stood up: propelling him backwards. He hadn't gotten enough distance, though he began running to his sidearm, dodging the fire from some of the clergy who had lost interest in Ludmila. Though for reasons unknown to Snow, much of the firing had come to a stop. Had Ludmila dispatched them all so quickly?
Quickly evading just another strike from the man, he felt a sharp pain brush his left shoulder. Distracted by the sudden burst, his eyes wandered to look at the gash for a moment. Punching the large man out in a furious strike, he picked up his gun and fired it relentlessly on the man who had still been shooting at him. "You shot me!" He confirmed, shooting the mans kneecaps, prepared to go for the kill, as he spotted Ludmila and her seeming victory. "You ok?" He called.
