With his hand releasing the wall, the prince turned and surveyed his company as though nothing had just now occurred. Unable to let bygones be bygones, the prince sped up without notice. Although he remained a warrior, there were pieces of his far-off past that stirred emotions even still within him. “How much time has passed?” He interrogated her, his voice cool, not revealing the reality of how shaken he still was. He was suddenly concerned about the time, desiring to know if they were on schedule. He expected this girl. This Eleen, or Hetio depending on the phase, to delay them. He had not anticipated it would be as it had turned out. Let this be a reminder, to always expect the unexpected. His sisters voice echoed in the depths of his mind.
She had always preached at him to be more careful, and to think things through. She was a brilliant elf, one he held above all others. He respected her opinions, even if he had not always agreed with them. As her twin, it was important to him to always know where she was. He was certain the sudden intuition was credited to the flashback he had just experienced.
Unsure of when his last flash back had even occurred, he started moving, slower than before in the direction he was leading her. ”We will still need to make haste.” He reminded her. ”This night is not going according to plan.” He speculated. He turned to speak to the human again when he noticed the strange color of her eyes. Cleverly bending, he lifted a small rock from the ground. If it was true that this Hetio had a different eye color it was best to be prepared for any more pebble pelting. ”Your eyes.” Was all he said further.

She had not answered him she had still been fighting it back, nothing felt worse then someone ripping you from your reality to replace you in consciousness. The only thing she could think was worse was having your heart ripped out. She gripped the wall beside her gripping her sweater and letting out a small 'hmph' of disdain. She gritted her teeth and just closed her eyes. she was becoming dizzy, she had never fought so hard to keep herself there before and good lord it hurt! it was almost indescribable, the whole situation and what she was feeling right now.
she had not moved even when he asked to make Haste, she had slipped into what seemed like a small coma. Finally the girl seemed to move again but had paused, The Prince picked up a pebble and she glared at him. "If you Dare throw that at me I will break your fingers..." she growled putting and index finger up. but her face was playful with a smile. It was Hetio, and she knew very well what she had just interrupted, the battle had let her gain a little knowledge on her position. she glanced around "what happened to not seeing the likes of me again? or did you think you could trick my counter part to her doom?" she asked hands on her hips.

”Doom?” Nuada inquired, tossing the pebble up into the air and letting it fall back into his hand mischievously. Surveying the shift in personality, he quirked a brow in interest. The human, had surprisingly, been forthcoming about this entire separate half ordeal. ”How did it come to pass that you share this body with the girl?” He queried, the question backed with curiosity. ”You failed to inform me that you had another side, indubitably it would have changed nothing. Come. Now is not the time to be insubordinate.” He demanded, desiring to press forward.
”Doom is not my aim. Not for your vessel, perhaps for her kind.” He remarked. He remembered their trespasses. He despised their deplorable way of living. Their disconcert for the world, it's nature, and creatures coexisting among them. It was a wonder they were alive as it were. Even without his intervention. Nuada was surprised they hadn't killed themselves off after so many years of displaying unwillingness to change. ”Where do you stand? Will you accompany me further willingly, or shall I be forced to carry you?” He demanded to know. He was a prince, he did not take orders, he gave them. It would be discourteous to be made still by such an inferior being. Although, she was still different from the others, somehow.

Hetio just rose a brow and let the man just talk, he was to amusing to interupt. He asked her one question then continued on as if she had answered. her lips tightened in a smirk."First to Answer your last question, I would love to be carried but I am afraid my double put a dress on this body, and the last thing I want is my ass hanging out" she said to him as she folded her arms and continued forward. "As for your first question, since it would take longer to explain. I ended here by A fools mistake" she said and just laughed. "It was a war, in a world I do not much recall the name of. I was a soldier, in this so called war" she said.
"I was the head of one of the troops, we were after some damn girl for some damn reason not sure why... it might not even have been the girl... maybe it was her kingdom?" she shrugged it off. "We were a mixed batch of soldiers anyways, someone had a brilliant Idea to make the leader of us, the four generals that is, A human. All he could go on about was power. I always hated him, I cannot remember his face or his name, just him being him. Him being human. Anyways, something happened to his plan. He cried out "Escaping!" which is all I heard nd then there it went, blade in throat. I just remember waking up one day in a little girls body... I was so pissed" she groaned shrugging.. She remembered little but what she could remember of her last moments. She had no Idea that Eleen had been the princess she was sent to fetch, she could not remember what she had been, just that she was not human. She remembered hate for that species... and how good she was as a soldier.

The prince tossed the stone into the air again, catching it just as effortlessly in his outstretched palm. The girl was answering his questions in a timely fashion, although it was not timely enough. They were still standing still. Resisting the urge to interject, he remained silent and listened. He rolled his eyes as she stated she would prefer to be carried, but was wearing a dress. Somehow he doubted that she would be able to enjoy his methods of carrying human filth. He stopped to remind himself that she might not be human, nor filth. The girl recounted past events that Nuada related immensely to. The prince arched an interested brow. “That is possibly the craziest thing I ever heard, but then again I'm not convinced you are perfectly sane, so I give you the benefit of the doubt... For now.” He stated.
The prince was not one to be double crossed. “Follow me.” He ordered gently, in a far less demanding nature as he had done earlier. “I would like to get there before the dawn.” He stated plainly, continuing down the tunnel. It was not that he was ignoring her claim, his golden eyes had not matched his words as he stated it was crazy. The truth was in a world such as this one nothing could truly be ruled out as crazy. He was intrigued by her differences, although still loathing her appearances, and upbringing. As far as the prince knew she was raised by mortals, by humans. As far as he could comprehend, she was also guilty by association. Brought up on materialism and greed.
Shoving in an ornamental hanging on the wall opened a stone path down to the sewers. Although the entrance was hidden, and unexpected, it had been enchanted by mythicals long ago, as an emergency path out of the Troll Market. The sewers were no place for a lady, though they made for faster travel. “You may not like this, but I ask that you follow anyway.” He stated taking point and entering the sewers. He half suspected this was the very path she had taken to reach them in the first place.

Had she expected this Fae to be completely Amazed by her story? well of course not, it would not change the hate she still felt him vibrate along his essence. She did not expect him to ever find a fondness for her. Though she was very curious on why he had lead her form down this dark passage (which was soon replaces with suspicion.) If they were heading to the troll market...
... why?
She could not help but let her eyes narrow, what had Eleen suddenly got them in? was she supposed to pick up this mess as well? this was ridiculous! Why had she decided to follow a strange looking man down here anyhow? Sometimes Hetio wishes she could speak with her counterpart and lecture her for her stupidity.
No, Hetio did not consider herself human but the reality was she looked it, so the fact this being was wasting any time with her after so intently warning her away. She followed though as she contemplated, his words going in one ear and pausing to be slowly soaked in as she thought for a moment. her boots hit the waters of the sewer and she glanced around the cool area. She finally recognized that they were most certainly on their way to the Troll market.
"You doubt me," she finally said deciding to state it then ask "About my past, and about my other side." her tone was blunt but had no emotion to it. She had gone over this with many people. It would have been nice if for once someone understood what she or her soul partner was going through. If this being certainly couldn't whom would? she paused, her steps stopped solid in her foot tracks .
If this was a game to him then she would play it her way, it was hard for her to trust anyone whom was so unwelcoming before and still had that Air to him. "I refuse to take another step, till I understand something," she said in her still emotionless now tone. "What are we doing?" she asked Nuada, her read eyes stared at him as she brushed the hair from her face and tied it up with the hair band she always wore around her wrist. That hair was so annoying around her face!
"Eleen is a fool, but I am not." she said, well she was in her own ways. "you clearly stated that you wished me gone before, now why are you leading me back to the place you forbid me?" she had a right to be concerned, right? She had the vague memory of being turned on before and she would not let this happen again. She had great doubt that the prince just "suddenly" accepted her.

Gold eyes boring into her red ones, the elf contemplated her story. It did not ring false, though it did seem a bit far-fetched, and again, the girl displayed no hints of deceit. The prince could not guilt her for her skepticism after their last confrontation, though even the blindest could see why he would distrust a 'human', or so he hoped.
Her facial expressions told a story, her eyes narrow and face distrusting. Did this half of the girl have any recollection at all as to what had happened when Eleen was in control? How split were these personalities? 'You doubt me,' she stated.
"On the contrary." Nuada stated. "If what you say is true, I doubt your embodiment. No more." Hetio demanded they stop, damn that vision, he thought to himself. Oh well, so much for making it to the Troll Market swiftly, to Nuada's good fortune, the Troll Market was not going to grow legs and move before he arrived. Sighing, Nuada crouched down to make himself comfortable. If she was going to take the liberty of stalling them, he was going to take the liberty of at least being comfortable when she did it. Or at least as comfortable as a damp, deep, cold tunnel beneath New York City streets allowed him to be.
"What are we doing?" The prince repeated her question. "I am showing you a world to which you might belong, first and foremost. Then depending on your thoughts, I might have a mission for you to help redeem humans sins." He said with a cold touch to his voice. "Too long, have the prayers of my people gone unanswered. Too long have humans wronged us. If what you say is true, you of all people must agree. I simply intend on setting wrongs right."
Unsure of if the girls other half, this Eleen would hear of his words, he would leave it at that. Although it had been brief, it was still truthful. She wanted answers and would no doubt keep demanding answers. "Anything else?" He interrogated.

so she had to get this straight, one moment he found hate grow within him for how he looked and NOW he claimed she may belong? Her eyes just rose as she crossed her arms "Fine I will stall us no longer... but as we walk I think it would be fair for you to tell me your story since you know mine," she stated in a simple matter of fact manner. She really was just curious about this being, unlike any mythical creatures she had encountered in her living days on earth he was the only one she did not want to pin to a wall and slam his face in with a large boulder. She would actually like to sit down one day and get to know the person he was hiding... if he was at all. She now continued walking, she semi-knew how to get there now since she semi-recognized where she was going. "Lets go, you seem in a rush anyhow" she said half teasing as she put her hands on her head and continued forward, passing him as she squatted there.
she let her mind wander now, Maybe she found interest because he symbolized a past she once shared. Maybe because she reminded him of a friend? she did not know. the only man she remembered in her past was that human. she grunted remembering his vague figure again. "Humans should have died with him..." she mumbled to herself not thinking about how people could hear her. Frankly she did not care either at her words. The thought of humans even touching her just made her a up roar of anger!

The prince nearly laughed, another rare occurrence. Fine. “I am Prince Nuada Silverlance, as I have informed you all ready. My past is not anything that you will find valuable.” He stated. He had never truly shared much of his past with anyone before, the only ones who really knew anything about his seemingly mysterious background was his father, King Balor, and his twin sister, Nuala.
“Very well. A little about myself...” He paused pulling up the basic information most of those knew of him all ready, not wishing to reveal his true nature. “I have a twin sister.” He stated lightly. “Her name is Nuala. She is very special to me.” In Nuada's eyes nothing he said now would change anything later. The girl would need time to adjust within the confines of the Troll Market, if she desired to learn the truth of the humans, he was certain. He was also confident that the seemingly human girl did not belong with the humans he had come to loathe. “My father, King Balor, is the one armed king of elfland. He was the one responsible for the truce between man and elf. He was once a strong warrior, but grew soft.”
The words left a sour taste in his mouth. Disgusted by his fathers weakness, Nuada shook his head. “It all should have ended then.” He muttered. His night vision was excellent, or perhaps he had just spent too much time underground learning the ways of the darkness. “There's not much to say.” He stated briefly. The basics were out, and that's just about as much information as he liked people having on him. He realized, that bringing her to the Troll Market was bound to change her lack of knowledge fairly rapidly. “There's not enough time in the world for dawdling.”

"well that is not nearly fair, " she half joke pouted about his lack of information and then smiled a crooked mischievous smile as something dawned on her. "I find it interesting, that when you knew I came about you immediately picked up a rock when you had a spear in hand to block anything I threw in your path." she said to him, she was in a lighter more friendlier mood now. It was not because she trusted him, it was because she talked herself mentally into being so. She assumed that being angry and disgruntled about her situation may put her in more danger then being in a lighter mood.
"how long till we actually get to your destination, your royal highness." she did her best to hiding her natural mocking tone, she hated titles like that it was so... degrading. she stared now to the ground "I was hoping you would have an estimated time, you see this body has not had much rest..." she said trying to explain nicely she was growing more tired by the second. it was not her fault she got the body when it was so tuckered out at the moment, it made her wonder if this being had the same problems with his body as she did her own.

Nuada grinned, the girl had been quick enough to pick up on his mild sense of humor, while the grin was rare he dared express it... This time. “My, how observant you are.” He commented, ascending the steep hill up to the surface to stand in front of the Troll Market's entrance. He pushed open the hidden run down door, placed behind an old forgotten billboard. “I do not often speak of myself, so you will have to forgive my shortness of words.” The prince stated. While it was true, it was also due to his diplomatic mindset, he often spoke of things he was obligated to do versus those of which would be considered 'casual discussions'. “I suppose I'm a bit on the serious edge of the spectrum.” He informed the girl lightly.
He pointed a long slender finger to the entrance of the Troll Market. “Looks like we were closer than I thought. That vision must have off set my sense of both time and direction.” The prince answered readily. This night had been eventful, and very quick paced. The prince had not anticipated such a quick journey with all of the events that had occurred beneath the world of man. Leading the way to the market he beckoned her forth. “In the morning there will be much to be learned, you can sleep in the den.” He stated. He could not believe he was intending on sharing his house with someone that appeared human. He kept reminding himself appearances were deceiving. “In the morning, we start.” He announced, all ready planning the events of the day ahead.
