Klaus has his sister and the Stefan he remembers back. Now all the happy trio needs is that necklace, and the answer that will allow Klaus to create more hybrids.
Elena may have finally let Stefan go, no longer trying to get him home. Her heart just hasn't let go yet. She has no idea that by refusing to let go of the last reminder of him, she is drawing the trio to her.
