Well, in a nutshell these threads need other characters to make them more interesting and fun - so (inspired by Bas's plot page - cheers mate!) here is this list of future threads. Please feel free to volunteer your characters to come into any of these plots - even the ones that take place in the more distant future site-time wise, because planning ahead = <3 (and it allows the plot to be modified to include your wonderous input to boot).
NOVEMBER
3rd-4th - The Tomb of Neferkaptah, Egypt
Featuring: Warren Sorrow, Lucy Bishop
In this thread we are attempting to secure THE BOOK OF THOTH. This is because, as you can imagine, if it falls into the wrong hands it could prove disasterous for all involved. Unfortunately the BPRD are not the only ones who have information regarding the whereabouts of the Book - THE CULT OF SOBEK need it in order to resurrect one of their most powerful priests.
Lucy features in her capacity as thief, working for her grandfather against the BPRD agents to secure the Book - though they may end up helping each other out once their shared goal is discovered.
10th-11th - The Abandoned Sewers of Paris, France
Featuring: Ceto Eurayle
In this thread the goal is to investigate reports of strange noises and unexplained deaths that all appear to be centered around one section of long-unused sewers beneath the city of Paris. The antagonist here is a GIANT CROCODILE that has been raised by the priest featured in the previous thread.
Ceto features in her capacity as a badass who stalks Warren for no real reason
27th-28th - The Black Hills, Wyoming
Featuring: Warren Sorrow, Ceto Eurayle, Jaxon Fleeter
This area becomes a haven for deer hunters in late November; unfortunately their activites have had to be curtailed due to the fact that several small groups have either went missing or been found dead. These horrific and senseless crimes have been committed by a group of creatures commonly known as THE WHITE EYES. Therefore the BPRD have been sent to the mine that the activity centers around, and where these terrible creatures originated from.
Ceto features in the same capacity as before. Jaxon is her counterpart in stalking. ;D
DECEMBER
- 17th-18th - Lismore, Australia
Featuring: Warren Sorrow, Lorena Zaccardo, Desomnd Alucard, Carl Greene
The GLOWING CROSS OS LISMORE has been missing for years. The most likely theory behind its disappearance is theft. And in this instance, the theories are correct. In the months before the theft of the Cross, a certain 'faith healer' and 'prophet' who insisted on being known simply as Theophilius (real name Jeremy Martin) spent all his time at the Cross, preaching his own brand of Apcalyptic warnings and gathering followers. Eventually, when the time was 'right' in 1986 they stole the Cross and took it to their nearby base. From here they became an insular group that only re-enters the outside world in order to carry out their plans for accelerating Judgement Day. In this regard, there have been a spate of recent murders in the local area - ritualistic killings that have left local police baffled and necessitated the presence of the BPRD agents.
Lorena Zaccardo features due to her extensive forensic knowledge and the usefulness of her general scientific background.
JANUARY
5th-6th - Bernkastel-Kues Cemetery, Germany
Featuring: Warren Sorrow, Lucy Bishop
The cemetry is haunted by THE WHITE LADY who wanders between the graves crying. She seems mostly benevolent - however, there are documented instances where people have attacked her and who have subsequently died raving about the White Lady. Therefore a team has been sent to attempt to pacify her back into acting in a non-harmful manner once more. Hopefully she will not have to be dealt with in any stronger fashion.
Lucy Bishop is present quite by chance, having been in the area and stumbled across the team.
- 12th-13th - Abandoned Cold War Submarine Pen, Albania
Featuring: Warren Sorrow, Ceto Eurayle, Kahndra Neghal, Abe Sapien
Hidden on the Albanian coast there is an ABANDONED COLD WAR SUBMARINE PEN. Locals avoid the area due to the rumoured inhabitants of the pen - WEREWOLVES who are former crewmembers of the subs. It is not quite known how these members of the military became so changed, but they have been terrorising the countryside in fits and starts over many years. Previous teams have been sent to deal with this problem; the werewolves still have access to outmoded weapons, and coupled with their ferocious strength this has enabled them to defend themselves so far.
Ceto Eurayle has been called in to act as a consultant on this mission as her Gorgon's Stare could prove infintiely useful in trying to deal with this pack once and for all. To this end, the Karesh Khandra Neghal is also present. Abe Sapien's expertise and comfort involving water will also no doubt prove useful.
FEBRUARY
8th-9th - Leyte Island, The Phillipines
Featuring: Warren Sorrow, Lorena Zaccardo
A SIGBIN has been emerging from the jungle at various points in order to drink whatever human blood it can get, and naturally this has been a cause for - for now - muted panic. It seems to be capable of covering vast distances, thereby enabling it to strike at all the various settlements in an astonishingly quick succession. People have not yet died, but it's only a matter of time and acute paranoia with regard to shadows is definitely starting to become evident. Thus the BPRD has been called in to simply kill the creature. However, with it's ability to hide and use of shadows which human cannot avoid casting, it could prove to be a more difficult opponent than its appearance suggests.
MARCH
APRIL
5th - Dunluce Castle, Northern Ireland!
Featuring:
On a rocky outcropping of the Antrim coast sits DUNLUCE CASTLE ancient MacDonnell family seat is a well-documented castle, though it has fallen into actue disrepair in the four centuries following the Battle of the Boyne - hwoever, the local council has realised its merits and importance and has begun to maintain it. Many important historical figures were once here, and equally important took place within its walls. Specifically, the castle is home to a ghostly spectacle of a vicious attack by the Vikings, who were more than capable of recognising the strategic importance of its location. It seems like a simple enough haunting, a case of document and leave, but the significance of the tie to one of the ancient families of Ireland cannot be underplayed - a BANSHEE has been heard by those who possess the blood-bound ability to do so, announcing an impending death in the MacDonnell clan from its lonely perch atop one of the broken towers.
MAY
2nd - Zululand, South Africa
Featuring: Warren Sorrow, Lorena Zaccardo
The highly-dangerous UMDHELBI is thought to be no more, merely a rumour written down by a missionary in the early 1900s and nothing more. The Zulu people, according to his documentation, sacrificed goats and sheep in an attempt to pacify the evil spirits that resided within the tree.
However, once again the rumours are circulating, and the tree and whatever it is that gives it its poisonous properties is supposed to be active in a remote area of Zululand. The BPRD are choosing to grasp this opportunity to gain a sample of this extremely rare piece of flora.
Lorena Zaccardo is present due to her expertise with botany.
5th - Buco-Zau, Cabinda Province, Angola
Featuring:
The KISHI has been steadily picking off young women in the general area of the town of Buco-Zau. Of course they've been warned - the advice of the older, wiser members of the community leaving their heads like so many wisps of smoke in the presence of the Kishi's handsome face. The lair has not been found, and hence the BPRD has been called in to rid the poor people of this menace, before all their daughters, sisters and wives are stolen by the creature.
