Date: 09 October 2008 The day had started for any seemingly human being, the sun had rose and fallen as night soon approached. the sky faded from blood red to peach closer to the horizon. The moon had already found its way out awaiting the stars to Accompany the lonely orb outcast every time the sun decided to come back to shine on the world. As others Hurried home that Friday evening another girl had a different plan, Eleen had her hair tied up high on her head in a pony tale. her stature erect and her steps confident, for anyone whom knew Eleen and cared to care Eleen was not Eleen. Eleen was in fact her polar counter part Hetio. The day had been to stressful on the poor Soul that took the name Eleen so, Hetio took over with quick precision as soon as the sun decided to lower itself from the Air. Tonight Hetio let her curiosity get the better of her and go somewhere she heard greatly about. Some creatures were not to careful and she found out about the entrance to the troll market under the Brooklyn bridge with ease. Finally, a place where she may be able to settle herself and not strangle every being that came before her. Oh how she hated humans , she hated mostly to have to live amongst the very Parasites that were killing their own world and even each other. Not that she could talk, war was a fond but vague memory of hers. She finally weaseled her way in the entrance, as this writer will not describe the long and ridiculous way Hetio found her way inside. Hetio soon merged with the crowd glancing around her, Fairies fluttered above her head while other more grounded creatures husseled down the markets path. Going every which way which made Hetio strangely fascinated by the scene around her. However she was not interested in the market, or buying anything from anyone except... a drink... a nice drink to calm her everlasting buzzing mind. So, she slipped into a shop, not paying attention to what it traded or sold and leaned forward to the shop keeper "Is there a pub Around perhaps? or some place to find a drink to drown the dreaded voices that crowd my blasted mind perhaps?" she asked, she hated speaking to anyone... however she was not used to nonhuman beings all around her.

Still nerve wrecked in the company of his capturer from the pub, The Leaky Dinghy, Snow slowly walked alongside his Prince. His Prince who most were seeming to avoid, and give wide birth to. The world above was their destination, they had eaten and rested, and upon mornings first light (Though they couldn't exactly see the morning light from the passages hidden within the underground)... Had begun to make their way to the overworld, land of humans, when he collided into one. "Oh! I'm sorry!" Snow exclaimed, grabbing the girl by the arm to make sure she didn't fall. When he looked to her face, he was surprised. Where he was expecting to see an elf, or another mythical creature he saw a human.
It took him a minute to recover from the initial shock. He was not only staring wide-eyed at her, he was gaping. The prince had an issue with Snow at the Leaky Dinghy because of his misleading human-like appearances. Tightening his grasp on the girl he turned to face the Prince, shoving her forward in his direction. "Human." He stated the obvious. Of course the human likely had no idea who the elf was before her, or for that matter: That her kind was, by most of the mythical's preference, unwelcome here.
Snow offered no apologies to the woman, in his confused state. Perhaps the prince was correct in presuming the worst about human kind. It had been too early for Snow to say, he hadn't seen the humans himself. Even elves had their short comings, regardless of what the Prince might believe. Snow was however, very loyal to his Prince, and would serve his causes even if he disagreed with them. As a child his father Forendir had told him much lore about the war of man, and the prince who took his leave promising one day to return to his people.
Snow had changed somehow, believing that his lordship was on a mission for the better of his people. He was suddenly slightly more confident (as if he needed that, having believed he was some sort of hero in training most of his life). "You're not supposed to be here." Snow stated coolly to the woman who had blocked his path, be it intentional or not. He watched curiously interested in seeing how this scene played out.
Though the girl seemed mundane enough, not even the mythic creatures could out power Prince Nuada. Glancing at the prince, he met his capturers cold golden eyes once more. What would he make of this situation? How would he react to a REAL human in his domain? As a child, well, a child under two hundred some years old, Snow had been taught of the ways of man. Their beliefs. Their big mouths that went along with their big heads. The way of their kind relied on secrecy, word of the Troll Market could not get out and about among humans. That would supposedly cause the collapse of their realm. "What do we do with her?" He pondered aloud.

It seem as if asking the Shop's vendor for directions to the location of a wonderful liquid to drown her busy mind in. For since the shop was still open in the crowd of busy people, she found herself being knocked into while on her way to bat her vixen like eyes at the man that owned the shop. It took her a moment to calculate what had happened and then another to calm herself. All she wanted to do then and there was Knock this mans nose clear off his face as payment for not watching where he was going. However,, such a scene was unneeded and she recovered her impulsive reaction and replaced it with Silence.
She stared up at the tall blonde man that held her arm to keep her from falling, thank god he did that or she would have been giving him bruises as a gift. however soon those cursed words slipped from his lips. How dare he call her such a dirty thing! even though she was she would not accept being called one. her eyes narrowed their fiery blaze at his soft blue ones trying to hold her tongue from spitting venomous words at the seemingly young man. his grip at tightened on her arm and she was not pleased with that either. her whole posture changed from defensive to offensive as he finally spoke to the other man about what to do with her even though there she sat. she had ears and was not happy about her unwelcoming encounter.
Soon she lifted her arm twisting his wrist to loosen his grip on her thin arm and pulled it away before her boot met his chest to make him fall on that arse of his. "EXCUSE ME!?" she spat at him "I would not speak such words since you haven't the slightest CLUE what you speak of, Human!?HA! yes I am cursed to be so.. but only in body. I doubt you know what lies inside." she pressed her boot on his chest more to pin him down on the floor. she was quite a strong girl, incredibly strong even in the human body. "Call me one of those wretched beasts one more time, and see what happens to that little nose of yours!" she growled her eyes turning a slight more red at her anger.

The prince was quiet most of the morning, only speaking once to inform Snow Moldovan that they were leaving the pub. They had rested there using the night to prepare themselves for the new dawn. They had not trekked far, the Troll Market still mostly vacated with the exception of a few main passages. Still disgusted by the Markets current state Nuada kept a quick stride, leading the boy toward the entrance of the market. The entrance located beneath the Brooklyn Bridge.
Again, his hope for an uneventful day faded within the first half hour of waking. He watched as his accompaniment clumsily clambered into a woman. He kept walking, pushing it off for the norm, until the blond called the matter to his attention with a single word. Human. He turned in time to see Snows grasp tighten, and trace a flicker of disgust on the face of the half elf. This surprised Nuada, only in the faintest, as he had been comrades with the boys father.
The boy even went as far as to inform the inferior being that it was unwelcome here. Hand resting on his spear, Nuada proceeded to stand beside the boy who was moments later knocked backwards. The prince was infuriated by the idea alone. The idea of a human child, of all people, knowing the location of whatever honor was left in the mythic world that was quickly fading with the time. Blinded by his hatred, he pulled out his spear, and knocked the human girl to the ground in retaliation for Snow, with ease. For a warrior like Nuada, killing the girl would prove to be a small feat.
Glowering at the filth, he bent over, gripped the girls arm and yanked her to her feet. "Do not ask." He stated in a firm voice to the half elf. "Do." He answered, effortlessly throwing the girl over his shoulder, casually strolling to their destination of the upperworlds.
Realizing the boy had not yet moved, Nuada stalled for a moment. "Snow." He demanded, before striding off toward their destination once more, girl still over his shoulder. He feared not the possibility that the girl was armed, for even armed the girl stood no chance against him, and he knew it. A girl, a human no less, would never be a threat to him.
Placing the girl back on her feet, the prince eyed her still upset, but level headed. He would not waste blood this day if it could be avoided. "Heed my words, daughter of man." He stated coldly. Staring at her with his golden eyes he held a finger up to warn her against interrupting him. "Do not ever lay your hands on an elf, or any other mythical creature in my presence. Furthermore, do not show your face in my domain again. He was not deceiving you when he said you were not welcome here. For I am Prince Nuada, this is what is left of my people, and my birthright. If you value your life, and acquire half a brain, you will do as I say, and not return." With that Nuada turned his back and continued out of the Troll Market, not really caring what the girl did from there. He had been more civil than usual warning her without harm. Whatever harm would now befall her, would not be at his hands. Being human, she was probably stupid enough to venture into the Troll Market even with a strong warning.

The second male had intervened, how dishonorable to get in the middle of a quarrel that was not his own! she hit the ground but had not stayed there long, as she opened her mouth to speak words not wise what so ever. She was lifted off the ground and found herself over the should of the man. the first thing that hit her was, he smelled like spices, Iron, and dirt. Strangely delightful but painfully nauseating after awhile. It took her a few moments to realize what was going on, "Wait just a moment you ..." her words were cut short as she felt her feet plant back on the ground. her red colored eyes stared up at the elf's gold ones. He spoke as if she was indeed below him. She did not care that he announced himself a prince, He could be the god of Candy land for all she cared and she would still not be impressed. She took Orders from no one! That had not worked out well in her last life anyhow and she was surely not going to let some stranger just toss her aside after threatening her with a spear and saying unwelcoming words.
Here was her problem, any being trys so desperately to find a place to belong and the world of man was CERTAINLY not a place she was welcomed either. Why was it everything around her found her to be some kind of dirt? what in gods name had her or even her other soul that shared this body done to deserve such treatment. This is why she drank, she wanted so desperately to wash these ill wills away and NOTHING was letting her do it in a healthy way. So as he began to walk off she inhaled a lung full of air before shouting "FINE! here is YOUR Unwelcome!" she said trying hard to hide the devastated emotion in her voice. was she hurt? yes, however she would not show it like others did. She did not cry, she made others ache just like herself if she could. What justice was in this world anymore? the tree's cry with regret and the sky moans in sadness even if the sun still vibrantly shone through those clouds.
She picked up a Rock and held it in her hand, gripping it till her fist became sore as she threw the rock straight to the prince. her aim was always remarkable and her strength met perfectly with the gravity of the world as it hit him hard smack dab in the back of hid head. She was not thinking straight, her own emotions clouding her thoughts as she bent down grabbing a bigger one that took two hands to hold readying to throw that one as well.

Nuada stopped dead in his tracks and slowly moved a hand to the back of his head in disbelief. Did the girl really have the nerve to throw a stone at him? His eyes traced the ground at the base of his boots when his eyes fell upon a lone rock that seemed out of place amidst the rest of his surroundings. Sighing he looked at Snow and shook his head. "You truly desire to be one of them?" He inquired, turning to face the girl, giving her one of his stern gazes, eyes meeting hers. Her temper certainly matched the color of her eyes, he noted dismissively to himself, bending over and picking up the rock. He examined it for any sign that it had drawn blood, which would have been unforgivable, but to the girls fortune it had not. Was this the stone she launched? Without a doubt. It had been a long while since he witnessed such a fit of anger. He chuckled to himself and shot the girl an annoyed glance. He decided not to rouse her further as he decided upon his course of action. Nuada was a very calculating individual, always planning ahead.
He made his way toward her slowly, each step even and filled with meaning. Upon reaching the girl, he gripped her hand and turned it palm side up, and shoved the stone back into her hand. "Keep your rocks off of us too." He stated simply, turning and gripping Snows shoulder, though expecting another tantrum to be thrown. This time he was alert to the possibilities of human stupidity and easily roused anger. This would be a good lesson for the boy. The prince grasped Snow's shoulder in one hand, catching up swiftly. "Enough is enough." Nuada stated plainly. "If we stay here, she'll keep us busy with her tantrums all day." Somehow the Prince was still had hope that the morning would simmer down and turn into something uneventful. He had far more on his mind. Soon. He told himself as they slipped away. Soon their debts will be paid.
He thought back to a simpler time as he walked, anticipating that the human girl might follow. Her red eyes lingered in his mind, although he did not feel that was his obstacle to overcome. That's when he felt it. "Nuala." He murmured quietly, changing direction again. "Snow, do as you will. I must find ..." He glanced at the half elf, assuming the boy had all ready known more about his sister than himself. After all, she lived among them for thousands of years while he was in exile. Sighing Nuada shook his head. "She's here." He mused almost surprised. He wondered again, as he did frequently, how his sister would react upon seeing him after so much time had bid them part. Would she welcome him as a long lost family member, or a total stranger? Only one way to find out. Nuada set a quick pace back toward the girl, with every intention to pass her to get back to the market. He had felt his sister, and she was looking for him.

Snow could not deny that he was off guard when the girl had swung. "Oomph!" Escaped his lips as he flew backwards and found himself on the ground, the girl spitting poison. When he tried to stand he realized the wind had been knocked out of him and tumbled to the ground again. "Sure as hell didn't see that one coming." He muttered, regaining his strength and standing again. Snow burst out into a gleeful laughter when the human had threatened him. He scoffed and then shook his head. "That was a fools luck, girl." He assured her, standing in a ready stance. "Hit me with your best shot! I can take it!" He demanded with a sarcastic, yet amused, smirk. It had become a game to Snow, and he was ready to fight her. Sparring was great for training, but what he failed to realize was the girl was serious. On the other hand, he had forgotten about his company, and only remembered his current situation when the handsome elf strode past him purposefully, gracefully.
Snow secretly wished that the moment would last for longer. Something about the Prince's aura inspired courage, fear, and even loyalty. Snow stood back, permitting his leader the room he likely desired. Had the prince witnessed that entire scenario? It was true, Snow often got caught up in the moment and forgot the world around him as he got sucked into these mental swings. Snow's unreliability seemed expected from his prince, as he had started to take the matter into his own hands. Is he really... defending me? Snow wondered surprised. Just yesterday this man had been ready to destroy him, should he be a human. Just as quickly as Nuada had crossed, the girl had fallen and for a moment Snow was concerned for his assaulter. What power the prince was capable of, Snow was not eager to witness firsthand. After all, they had heard the stories as children. Elves.
The prince had started to answer Snow's prior question, as he caught his breath and waved at his Prince from the corner of his eyes. Still regaining his strength he realized the warrior had started moving again. His heart skipped a beat when his childhood idol called his name, an order to follow him. Snow ran to catch up and walked with the two until Nuada gave the girl a brief warning, mentioning that Snow's judgement wasn't all horrible. The questions raced through Snow's mind, but he dare not ask them at this moment. It seemed they were still travelling to their destination mark. Excitement filled Snow as if he were a giddy little school boy. He followed the prince eagerly, as if he were some form of idol, as he was to Snow.
It wasn't over. The girl was a true fire cracker. Or perhaps insane. Who said she couldn't be both. He didn't have to turn back to see where the whizzing stone had come from and hear the pop as it collided with the back of Nuada's head. Had it been anyone else that the girl had hit, Snow would have laughed and then checked on. He was stunned. The girl knew the Princes' identity. Snow had run up to his prince like a shadow, trying to give the man a checkup which was second nature to him. He was not only trained in battle, but in first aid. The idea that the stone would have caused damage to the prince was nearly laughable, but the consequence for not checking on him could have proven to be more dire.
All Snow could do was watch again. The man had leadership qualities, and Snow only dreamed of one day being as worthy as his master. The man didn't move, not an inch, as he studied the ground at his feet and retrieved the very rock the girl had thrown and examined it. Snow turned to look back at the girl, and had to wink in her direction. Such insanity deserved some sort of acknowledgement, and what the prince didn't know wouldn't kill him. His attention was drawn back to his master when his voice carried: "You truly desire to be one of them?" Snow chuckled quietly.
"Sir, with that kind of nerve and courage... I mean no disrespect sir, but that kind of brainless act must have a purpose somewhere..." Snow chuckled again as the prince passed him completely composed. How like Nuada to ask a question and completely disregard the answer that was given. When he heard Nuada tell her to keep her rocks to herself, he was forced to burst out coughing to attempt to cover his amused laughter. His laughter was cut short when the prince shivered slightly and in a barely audible voice said "Nuala."
So it was true. He had a connection with his twin. The princess no less. Nuada freed him, not that Snow was eager to be freed. "I can help you find her, sir." He offered following the prince in the direction of the girl again. Too highly amused, Snow reached out and quickly snagged the stone as he stopped to examine it. "Good throwing arm, miss." He stated quietly, once he was certain the prince was far enough away not to hear him. "Where on earth did you learn to throw like that? You could go pro!" He said enthusiastically. He snuck out of the Troll Market to watch a few baseball games. He knew the girl was probably still pissed off at him, so he laid the stone back in her hand, and gave a slight wave and casually walked behind Nuada, planning on stopping should he be asked to. Nuada did say he was free to do as he wished, that could indeed be socializing with creatures he was curious about.

She narrowed her eyes at snow as he winked t her, what was that? This was surely not a time to flirt if he was trying. She still held the other stone as Nuada turned gracefully to her and strode to where she stood, that heavy smell entered her nose again she forgot about the rock in her hand scrunching her nose and dropped it as it rolled away from the scene. She was not yet sure if she liked the smell of this elf, so it still made her slightly dizzy when he was to close. He spoke to her and pressed the stone back into her hand and turned to leave.
The words echoed in her mind, her stones? What would you expect from this girl whom surely should be the red queen of wonderland. Except it would be tacky to yell out off with your head! She stared at the rock in her hand as she just began to, laugh. True laughter, nothing evil or cruel just laughing at probably a good joke. Her smile, unlike the rest of her stature, was bright and almost the same as Eleen’s when she ever laughed. Neither of the girls ever truly did. However, her laughter died as the stone was grabbed from her hand.
She looked up at him raising a brow, this Snow she liked better then Mr. Sheep he was earlier, the light hearted half elf at least had a smell she could figure out. “If you still follow him, tell him that the rock is no longer just mine,” she said shrugging as she stuffed it in her pocket “it is now an example of ours. For he is far more imprinted on it then I am” there went her cocky smirk as she turned on her heel “your welcome to see the world of human with me if you wish,” she shrugged, she kind of said it in a sarcastic manner,. Hetio was not one that liked company to often, so climbed out of the troll market letting her anger and confusion fade. She walked on to find something to entertain herself.

Snow nodded slowly trying to remember the message he was expected to pass. "I do believe I will accompany you to the land above. I believe the prince is in need of some space, though I am bound to see him again, and when I do meet him, I will indeed pass on your message." Snow stated with a slight nod of the head. There was something off about this girl, something he felt he had caught even before his prince. Her eyes were red, a humans eyes wouldn't be without the aid of cosmetics. He smiled briefly. "I'm Snow. What's your name?" He tried to rewind time and set things right slightly. It would be better perhaps, to judge her for himself, instead of listening to his prince.
His prince, wise as he was, was not really known for being balanced in his opinions of humans. To him they all seemed filth and trouble. To Snow, well... Snow had no real opinion. He hadn't known them, he had been raised here as an elf from the day he was born. More than 200 years ago. The girl was familiar somehow though, which troubled his mind. Why did she seem so out of place? He stood there awaiting her direction.

"well good, then let me show you this magical place I know in the world of Humans, something called a Bar" she said, now she wanted some alcohol. even though Nuada's stunt lightened her mood she still wanted to lose any negative memories in her mind and fill herself with the numbness of fake happiness. Hetio was Like a human in many ways, being flung into a world unknown to her soul made her uneasy.A very easy target for just the right person if wished. Though she does not remember her other life, she feels the emotions she had then, the vague memory so far away in her mind like a ghost int he fog. THIS is why she drowned herself in beer's and cheap wines. to rid this lingering ghost in her memory that made her feel so Alone.
This Fae, she doubted he would understand for he himself did not have to worry with the prejudice of never being accepted... or did he? she knew nothing of him and he nothing of her. However enough Drinks will loosen her tongue and all her secrets would be His... which was another fault of Hetio's. She could never keep her mouth shut long enough when a drink had been between her teeth, to be trusted with dark secrets. However her counterpart could be entrusted with the worlds secret it self... and she would never loosen her jaw as long as she promised.
She climbed out of the Troll market back under the Brooklyn Bridge and stuffed her hands in the Jeans she wore, she turned to wait to see if this man would truly follow her. "Watch out for out wretched stones," she half joked watching this man, Unlike the Prince he was a little more... Warm... she supposed she could call it. It kind of made her feel bad for knocking him on his arse, then she remember he called her Human and the guilt just faded away.
