Date: 2008 October 13 A small smile? well that she did not expect too see as she waited silently until he opened the door. She entered the troll market once she was able, glancing around the wonder of the place once again. This time she hoped she would not be picked up and placed out of here again, that would NOT be very Productive and it would make this man a fool with games. She bit her lip as she wandered forward toward the troll market, she only stopped when she realized something. Did he say she was spending the night in a den? She rose a brow and slowly turned to Prince Nuada staring at the Pale, gold eyed, dark lipped being in her presence. "Den?" she asked, honestly... Den could mean anything and she had a weird flash of scenery with her chained to a wall to a "den" or dungeon more rather. How childish of this girl to think of that instead of a lions den or an ACTUAL den. Clearly this girl was paranoid with her position at this point in time, if she thought Den meant Dungeon. The sleep deprived brain of her's was also in half twilight, one of those times where you can shove the girl in mud and she will gladly oblige to sleep in the wet sticky mess (as long as she does not drown of course.) He spoke of lessons int he morning, was she going to school AGAIN!? it did not work well the first time she went to school and would doubt it would work now. "How do you plan on having me receive these, "lessons'?" she asked him now in restrictive curiosity, as they walked.

As Nuada and Eleen worked their way into the Troll Market, the seven foot 'man' known as Thorkich was in the midst of a circle of Goblins. And they were all chattering at once, in their native language no less. A headache was rolling in as the seconds past. You could easily hear the giant over the almost whispering goblins. He wasn't hard to spot, an extremely tall man, bulging muscles, with a pair of goggles resting on his forehead and work boots.
"Alright, alright." .... "I'll have to see about that. But we can't do anything about it just yet! Calm down!" Then he was given something, quite a large brass key. He pocketed it quickly after realizing what it was.
He turned to see the prince heading his way, "I'm sorry, but I must go." Wading through the goblin group, he walked towards the Prince and his guest. "Hello, Nuada. Who do we have here?" he asked as he stretched his arms out wide. He hated cramped quarters, it made him paranoid, not to mention stiff as a board. He couldn't wait till he got to grow in size again.
Thorkich leaned and sniffed the air near Eleen, and furrowed his brow. "Why do you have two scents, woman??" Then he glanced at Nuada. "What can she do for us?" He walked around the woman, looking her over. "Or else you wouldn't have even thought of bringing a human to the market."

Setting his pace a few steps behind her, Nuada surveyed the nearby area. She would stand out, though during the evening rush within the market many would not take notice. It was the beauty of such a market. Trolls, goblins, and other strange mythical creatures were walking in masses in one way or another. The market was dark, the walls lined with pipes and rusted interiors. To their left upon entering was a long line of creatures carrying bowls and speaking amongst each other in various languages, all in which he was trained to understand. The long line was set before a cauldron, in which an older looking cronie troll was cooking a thick stew in. Business looked to be all right around the entrance, but there was a face he recognized.
The small smile faded from his lips as he was greeted by the normal sounds of the marketplace. The market itself had long served as a painful reminder to the prince that his people had all but given up on reclaiming the world above, and returning to their homes in the forest. The Bethmoora Clan were the “Sons of the Earth”, and Nuada dare say he took pride in his heritage. They were the chosen race, chosen by the earth, and forgotten by the humans. He caught sight of Thorkich in time to see the giant pocket an object of sorts. The prince could not help but appreciate the mans appearance, a strong build with strange gear. Including goggles.
The prince's attention was drawn to the girl again and he strode to walk along side her. “Yes, a den. Such as a room with a fireplace, and a sitting space. We can make sleeping arrangements when we get there. Do not expect much, I live as a soldier. There is very little entertainment in my domain. However, if you get bored there are many pleasures the market itself has to offer.” He reassured her. He had invited her here, so as uncharacteristic as it was, he would do his best to be a decent host. “As for the lessons, I plan on administering them myself.” He reassured the girl, slightly pleased by her uneasiness.
Fortunately for the prince, he hadn't needed to speak for a long duration, for Thorkich had taken notice of him as well. Of course being a prince his presence often demanded the attention of others. While some of his kind feared him for his ruthlessness, they all recognized him upon sight alone. “Greetings, friend.” Nuada responded delicately. “This is Eleen Crest. She has a strange soul. Her counterpart is named Hetio. Should her personality shift, you will know by her eye color.” He briefly introduced tapping a slow finger to the corner of his golden eyes. “And this is Thorkich.” He offered to the girl. “She has her uses. Come we'll speak of this in a more suitable environment. We would not wish for the wrong ears to hear of our plans.”

Hetio's eyes narrowed at the large man whom approached them, WHY did everyone greet her with Human?. Her fists tightened as she stared as him gritting her teeth inside her mouth. Her red eyes were red for a reason, lucky for her she kept her cool otherwise a vase would have collided with this mans head. What was with this girl and throwing things? Supposedly it did not matter, she would throw them if you got an answer from her or not. She let out a deep breath as she stare up at him "Ok warning hefty, call me human again and see what happens when your asleep..." she said in a dark tone. Was she scary? she could be if she really desired it.
She stretched slightly "I doubt I will last the moment I would need to be entertained," she finally answered Prince Nuada. "I am about to pass out right here," her eyes were slightly droopy but besides that she did not look tired at all. She was good at seeming alert, but if you wanted to murder this girl now would be a fabulous time. her reflects were almost as slow as a slug's. she loosened the tie in her hair a bit, she thought about taking it off but had stopped herself.

His nostrils flared in sudden anger. Hefty, was he? This offense against the earth thought of throwing insults at a GIANT of all things.
Thorkich glared at her, his grey eyes growing cold. "Listen here, Human" he simply grabbed her by the collar, and with one hand lifted her three feet off the ground. "I won't take any slights against me. Or you WILL go through many walls. No matter how entertaining the prince might find you."
He nodded towards Nuada as he mentioned his title, then came very close to the womans face. "I am a GIANT. Do you understand? A near twenty foot giant. I'd eat you now if the notion struck me. So watch your little mouth, and be respectful. We are both much older then you, so show a better attitude towards us or your bones will be in my bread by morning."
Then he dropped her back to the earth, not gently, and turned to his leader. "Let's head out then, I already have prying eyes on me. I also have something to show you later." He patted his pocket with the key residing in it, and turned to leave.

Now usually a human would shake in fear of what had just happened, but we all know that Hetio was not a normal human. Instead when she was picked up she had to hold back laughter, she was more then ready to just burst out in Joker typer laughter. was this guy for real? so he was a giant, who cared. once he put her down she immediately stopped laughing "Hefty is not such an insult" she said to him her eyes narrowed and her nose actually flared. "If you want to bark up the tree of someone whom actually values their life your barking up the wrong tree" she said to him. She rather the Giant crush her so she could free herself from this human form then him thinking he was "sparing her life" it sickened her.
Though she took in a deep breath to obviously recollect herself, she was more then ready to just tear the giant to shreds Vocally (if that was possible of course.) she just turned to Nuada to follow. Obviously to tired for any other argument with anyone, all her energy was not there anymore and she would be easy to keep an eye on for now. She did not plan to awake as herself in the morning.

An amused Nuada watched the giant heave in anger. Folding his arms, he leaned back against the wall of the entrance, and put one foot against it, golden eyes watching the event playing before him. “By all means, Thorkich... She'd be equally as amusing flying through walls.” The prince assured him, a rare smile playing the corners of his lips. The giants actions had demanded the attention, respect, and wide-birth, of many of the nearby residents of the market. They had scurried away fearing for the worst, the possibility of a quarrel between a giant and a child.
He suppressed a very quiet laugh as the giant reminded the human about the very real reality of the situation, that she was still inferior. Not rushing to her defense, Nuada nodded at Hetio, certain she'd fail should a fight actually occur. She would have to learn her place here, however. There were no heroes in the sky in the Troll Market for little girls wandering so far from home. He had no doubt Eleen would have cried and trembled at the confrontation, though it seemed Hetio had herself pretty well composed.
Stepping off the wall, Nuada proceeded onward following the giant and beckoning the human. “I look forward to seeing your discoveries Thorkich.” Nuada assured him pleasantly. His attitude taking a completely different light while speaking with those of his realm. Nuada's eyes found Eleen's body again, though the resident was still obviously Hetio, and noted she was weary. “Lets get somewhere that she can rest. My residence or the inn will do.” He stated to Thorkich, almost concerned that the girl would pass out then and there from weariness.

He huffed as he stooped, grabbing the woman by the back of her shirt and lifting her easily. He placed her back on her feet and crossed his arms across his chest. "I hate attitudes like that. So defeatist. Boring." He grunted simply, and turned to face the Market.
"Let's go to the Inn. Your place is far more.... wet. And noisy. No place for rest. Granted that wouldn't stop either of us, but the girl probably wouldn't want to tough it out there." Thorkich added with a nod, his hand subconsciously drifting down to his pocket, checking on the key. Still there. Hopefully, this could mean the last hope for his species

Hetio no longer wished to speak words with this Annoying being, what a cocky attitude for one whom most likely will be a pee brain. The lovely blonde folded her arms tightly together as she walked down the street following the Fae Prince in charge. Her eyes shifted at the Giants words, to her it was basically calling her miss priss. Hetio focused on the giant only a moment to formulate her words to him carefully before breathing out to keep her calm. "Pardon me hefty" said Hetio as she looked over at him nonchalantly "But I could sleep in dirt if I had to" she said to him with a touch of coldness in her tone of voice.
"There is a lot of things you don't know about me, and just because I am a female does not mean I care about silly things as a place to sleep" she growled. Her tiredness made her touchy, She rolled her eyes turning to face Prince Nuada. "Your home is fine, do not listen to Pee brain. I rather people not speak for me anyways" she said to him.

The cacophony of the creatures in the troll market overwhelmed each singular being, wafting over the crowd as a binding scent. Individual persons chattered with friends and acquaintances whilst stealing sidelong glances at rivals and moulding their seemingly relaxed dialogue into veiled remarks about those they were pretending to ignore. Business carried on behind the backs of officials though they were usually the ones in the centre of the unnamed business. Illegal trades of the ‘garden’ variety obtaining ingredients outlawed, even by the dark market, information as always was the most common and through it all they discussed how the state of glamour was eternally fluctuating. Officials strolled the around the place, neon light colours reflecting of any shiny object being sold for the magpies around.
Elves, trolls, humans and giants displayed a fresh hybrid of fashions. It was strange to see a mix of the old and new and yet, at the same time appearing totally above it all as if Jaxon were entertaining the idea of fashion to humour the mortals he now had to live with, those who saw his appearance as the ultimate representation human kind. He picked the cuff of his brown leather jacket contemplating for a moments worth as he dragged his boots roughly on the stony floor. Even some dogs growled at his dreamy state, hounds of some sort or another. The light melodic jangle of a scalp taking, his latest contract, a old troll causing havoc in the shopping centre. It patting gently at his side while he flashed an ember light to give the cigarette in his mouth some life. As soon as he pulled on a most needed drag, the smoke that twirled into devious shapes parted to reveal his Royal Assness of all people, a giant and what looked like a human.
Of course, now even Nuada himself was tipping to the edge of Jaxon’s version of insanity which consisted of relating and mixing with the human kind. Jaxon himself had an excuse to why he had to live among them, dress like them and hell he even picked up phrases like them, but that was all down to the Albino’s father. Pulling one final drag, he loosened his jaw and bared his signature grin, charismatic but twisted at the same time, before half jogging over to the group of misfits. “Princey, now I wouldn’t take you for someone to go mundane. Chickadee here woed you eh? Whatever next? Collecting hair from a giants ass?” He briefly glanced to the giant. “Excuse me.” A harsh laugh project from his vocal cords.

The giant and anomaly were bickering between each other, their disagreements falling on half-deaf ears. The prince remained both unmoved and unsurprised by the immaturity of his company. While the giant would be capable of showing high levels of maturity, he seemed the short tempered type that enjoyed picking on lesser beings, such as mysterious humans who had been permitted to access the market. He observed, tuning out his surroundings, listening only to the selective sound of a few performers in the market, gypsies of some sort no doubt. Proceeding the music resembling an old music box had began to fade, creatures scurried whispering and pointing in his direction, their usual methods of passing messages to one another unnoticed by most. He had not needed the warning the creatures were trying to pass. In the market there were always unsettling presences, such as the presence of the elven child on a mission to sniff out trouble.
“Princey, now I wouldn’t take you for someone to go mundane. Chickadee here woed you eh? Whatever next? Collecting hair from a giants ass? Excuse me.”
Unmoved, Nuada had not slowed his stride until his guest had been insulted. Without a word, and without warning, Nuada thrust his spear through two travelers, hoisting his spear up with great force. Such force resulted in a gash delivered to the cheek of the young lad. “Mind your manners.” He ordered, grabbing one of the deceased creatures side arm and shoving it through the second corpse and the cheeky mans attire. Lunging forward, he shoved his sword deep into the establishment, pegging the boy securely to the wall. Having done this a few thousand times before in his lifetime, he intentionally had caught the mans garment beneath one of the arms, making it slightly more difficult to escape. “And be quiet.” To add further insult to injury, Nuada grabbed an apple off a nearby stand and shoved it into the boys mouth, similar to that of a wild boar on the kings table. With two pats on the boys head, Nuada ushered his company forward.
Swiftly changing the subject, Nuada recalled the giant and the human girls slight. “I could use the inn now.” Nuada admitted. “I am weary and hungry as well. Perhaps a bit of a meal is in order before I retire for the night. Not to mention...” Nuada raised a brow and glanced at the giant. “We'll need a plan now won't we?”

Hetio turned at the sound of another foreign voice to see a Fae being quite rude to the prince and insulting the rest of the group. Hetio was to tired to do anything right now. She watched as Nuada handled the situation quite epically I must add. Hetio sighed, Obviously Hetio was so tired Eleen was influencing her actions as she walked up to the boy. Thanks to her super human strength she freed the sword from the building. "I rather the sword not be disgraced in such a way as pegging a good for nothing being on a building" she said excusing her kind action another way as she turned around walking back tot he group without another word uttering from her mouth. She just wanted a bed, And quickly would be nice.

Jaxon felt his weight drop as the human freed him from the swords grasp. Power flowed through the essence of this one, he mused, grabbing the apple out of his mouth and inspecting it. Green, damn. Jaxon laid his eyes on the colour, a tug at his lips showing the displeasure of the sight of it.
“You know, I prefer red apples.” With that, he drew out a clean bite from the fruit, tongue wiping away an residue that threatened to stain his lips. A hard swallow follow before he flexed his arms muslces enough to send the fruit flying in the other direaction, crashing into a stall that harvested some disgusting weed that moved when sang to. The crow like thunder of cries and curses echoed the inclosed area, enough so everyone knew who it was directed to. He paced down to meet the others again, basking in the eerie green glow the walls surrounding transmitted. Its nuclear colour radiated his already green eyes into a hue much more vivid and intense, while the occasional flicker and lick of the flames of lanterns produced warm shadows to be casted from his features.
Even the willow wisps lights from above hazed an artificial tone to the place. This all added to the effect of the pit of insanity that coiled twisted under his flesh and blood. Some say he’s as mad as the Insanity itself, but as he coxed his fingers from their pockets, he showed he was more blunt then what the big character flaw was. A sickening smile played coy to his lips as straightened his back, the occasional crack of tired bones creaking with his movement. Sure, being an assassin was a workout in itself. The Prince was fiery he knew, and today it seemed he caught him on a particularly bad day, much to the pleasure of Jaxon. He stopped his smiling and now gave Nuada a mature quizzing stare, his sylph like fingers tightening on his beer bottle that he retrieved from his other pocket, till they turned a dark bruised purple colour. Jaxon took a long swig of his beer, his adam’s apple beautiful and defined in the light given.
With a gasp and a low groan of relaxed pleasure, he looked back to him with eyebrows rising. Slowly, ever so slowly a smile peeled from his lips, full and daring. It did reveal sharpened teeth, though they were nothing like a vampires, more sinister then weapons of death, but actual natural canines that he had from birth. “You don’t know me yet Princey, but you best keep respect for one of the elite guards in which is in service of your dear daddy. He may think some sun of sorts shines out of that white ass, but my word is as deadly as any poison. Watch it.”

The prince halted, his back rigidly straight and head high, watching the human behave idiotically. It came as no surprise as humans never knew what was good for them. Perhaps it had not occurred to the overconfident child that he had pegged the man to the wall because he could be dangerous. Sighing, the prince watched the girl approach the elf like a hawk. His gold eyes not moving from his. “A reminder.” Nuada called loud enough for the peasant to hear. “That she is my guest this evening and should any harm befall her, the one responsible shall meet a swift end.” A cruel smile crossed his lips once the swords rights were brought up by the girl. “Come. Now.” He ordered. “Let us find you a bed, surely you are weary.” Annoyed by the very presence of the traitorous tongue, he proceeded alongside Eleen and the giant.
”You know I prefer red apples...”
The cruel smile played his lips again as he turned, pace quickening, and spear held outright in warning. “You should be honored, that your prince took notice of you. You are but a child, lost in his lust for folly. You won't get anywhere behaving like an arrogant fool for your entire existence. Go home. Train. Study. Cease to make a fool of yourself for every action has a consequence. I will not hesitate to bring about yours.”
The boy had seemed to lick his lips in response raising Nuada's annoyance. “You should learn to respect your elders.” He stated sternly, hitting the child in the side with the blunt edge of the spear. “Get out of my sight.” He turned his back and continued toward the inn. Stopping again at the sound of the traitors voice.
”You don't know me yet, Princey, but you best keep respect for one of the elete guards in which is in service of your dear daddy.”
“My father is weak.” Nuada stated turning to face the kid in fury. “You may think your word is deadly, but I can have your tongue this night.” Grabbing the boy by the scruff of the neck, he began dragging him along with the group. “You're coming with me... We're going to review the pracitce of respecting your elders.”

Thorkich simply chuckled and watched the Fae be thrown around, much deserved really. Especially the hair comment. He smiled a wide and toothey smile at the Fae while he was dragged by Nuada. Nothing but sharpened fangs up front, and thick too. Made for tearing and cracking bones. He walked behind both him and the elf prince and listened in on the markets. Nothing better then white noise. Silence rung in his ear a bit too much.
He pursed his lips at a thought, then grabbed Jaxon away from Nuada, only to give a swift kick to the side of the fae's right knee. There was a dreadfully loud POP as the lower leg was knocked out of its placement. Thorkich simply threw the fae over his left shoulder, holding onto Jaxon's working leg by the shin and began walking again. "Less work, and look. Now he won't get away." He said simply and a little confidently.
After a few minutes of trudging through the Markets, they had arrived at the Inn. A ramshackled building, three stories high, and made up of huts of bashed sheet metal and wood. Thorkich had amassed his lost goblin companions, who jogged along side to keep up with the Giants long legged stride. He simply dropped the Fae onto his head as he walked up to the potatoe crate counter and said gruffly. "Biggest room ya got."
