If one were to look at Edmond, the first feature that they would notice about him would be his charming smile. It was a trait that made him looked easy to approach for a conversation, and he could easily win someone over with just his smile. The next feature that they would note about Edmond were his eyes, they were in a beautiful shade of steel blue and can pierce your very soul when he looks at you.
Edmond has short dark brown hair that can never be tamed and he didn't know why but he didn't mind it. All in all, he was a rather handsome man. Edmond was five feet and eleven inches tall and he has a rather athletic body well toned with muscles. The man was usually dressed in a white dress shirt under a black zipped up hoody. Edmond wears a matching black slack with a pair of sneakers. The man usually wore what was comfortable with him.
»»PERSONALITY: [/b]
Edmond was a man who seemed to be friendly all the time. A jokester at the most inappropriate moments and man who seemed to lack fear for anything (except for angry females). But that was just on the outside, the personality of Edmond goes far into deeper depths.
Edmond exudes confidence, it was a trait that he had garnered since the tragedy of his parents death. Though the man was confident, he was not arrogant. Fear was something that dwells in his heart. Fear drives him to succeed, to never give up. It was a driving force that sometimes, can lead to one's demise. Edmond lets his fear motivate him, to try and conquer it but he never let his fears control him.
Courage was something that he had built in his earlier year. To face fear in the eyes and kick it in the groin was to have courage, and Edmond did just that. To have courage was to also be able to embrace all the pains and sorrows that one might go through and to let go of certainties so that one could become more than what he is. Edmond had endured so much, and had to let go of so many things.
Edmond has a weakness for pretty females, be it because he was a male or because he considers them precious. Children were another weakness of his; he hates to see them suffer for they are precious to the world. Edmond loved the rain, he did not know why but he did. It may have something to do with the refreshing feeling that rainfall brought.
With rain there comes the sky. It was another thing that he liked, as the skies were a constant in his life. He also had a fondness for sincere smiles. It was something that he liked to see on children, or pretty ladies. A passion for him was music; it was something that he thoroughly enjoyed.
Edmond did not like hurting females, it was never his thing to do. Another thing that Edmond disliked was eating too much that his stomach would bloat out, that feeling was just weird to him and he did not like it. He had a bad accident once, where a man had punched his face. It was not a feeling he would like to be repeated if he could.

»»HISTORY: [/b]
Edmond was born on the eve of June 7th to parents Ethan and Francesca Graves in a hospital in Jersey City. Edmond -or Eddy as he was liked to be called by those that he knew- grew up on the road as his parents liked to travel. It was not an easy childhood per say, but his parents dotted over him whenever they could. Edmond grew up loved and in his later years, he would come to appreciate his childhood and would often remember it fondly.
Ethan Graves was a musician and man who loved his family dearly and Francesca was a loyal and loving housewife. The man often travelled from city to city playing in concerts, clubs and wherever he could to earn a living for his family taking along Francesca with him. Even though they travelled a lot, the family was a loving one.
When Edmond was born, they were ecstatic and thankful for having a child. For a couple of years, the family stayed in Jersey City, raising the baby until they began to take onto the road again. And even though young Edmond was raised on the road, the boy had grown up just fine. They would often stay in one place for a few months before moving on again.
Raised in an environment surrounded by music and inspiration, young Edmond began to form a love for music and his parents were happy to endorse that love. Teaching him how to play musical instruments from a young age, Edmond took like fish to water. The parents held such joy in teaching him how to play music, and they hoped to nurture his love for the art form. Though they never neglected their child’s education as he was home schooled.
When Edmond reached his teenage years, he was like any other teens though a bit on the shy side. Due to his family’s travelling, the teen did not develop any lasting friendship. Always the new kid in a new place, the teen was finding it harder and harder to develop any kind of friendship much less crushes and young love.
But that does not mean that he never had any experience with it. Shortly after this sixteenth birthday while his parents were out and left to his own devices -his parents trusted him thus they let him on his own from time to time- Edmond decided to explore the town they were staying at in Hudson County. It was then that Edmond had his first brush with crushes and affection.
Her name was Jessica and she was the same age as he. They first met while rummaging through a dusty old bookstore looking a good read. It began with the brush of their hands and their eyes met after. From there their friendship grew with introductions and a promise of meeting again the next day. It would be one of the best months in the life of Edmond Graves, so he attests.
From friendship it grew to dating and while it had lasted in the few months that they were together, they had enjoyed it. It was a new experience for the both of them and they had grown up a lot in that short time, though they did break up in the end. Amicably of course, and their bond of friendship still held strong to date.
November 4th after his seventeenth birthday however, would always be a date that made him melancholic. After a show that his father played in, they were driving down the road to New York City. It was a rather nice night for a drive and for a while they were lulled by the monotony of it all, until tragedy struck however.
On that night, the breaking system on a truck had malfunction and it had swerved from a corner of the road. It had crashed into the car that Edmond and his family drove in. The next day Edmond had woken up in a hospital room with the doctors looking over him, and they bared bad news. He was the only survive from the crash. On that day Edmond had cried until there were no more tears to cry.
Shortly after that, he was taken in by his grandfather Abel Graves and moved into an apartment complex that was owned by Abel. Edmond learned that in case something were to happen to his parents, his grandfather would be appointed to be his guardian until he came of age. Edmond was fine with it and with the help of his grandfather, he began to heal.
Living with his grandfather was something new to the teen because he was not travelling like he used to. It was something that he was growing accustomed to, living in one place that is. He was surprised to learn that his grandfather was a rich yet kind man. Upon his eighteenth birthday, his grandfather had given to him capital to open up a business.
Seizing the opportunity, Edmond with the help of his grandfather opened up a quaint little bookshop called Edmond’s Eyesore, a name that made both grandson and grandfather chuckle. The business ran fairly well considering that they were selling both new and used books. They were even willing to buy used book from customers, bearing in mind that the books were uncommon or at least interesting.
After a few years however, Edmond decided to renovate his little shop and opened up a café. Edmond’s Eyesore was then both a bookshop and a café. Since then business had been picking up due to customers reading book while having a cup of coffee or tea if they prefer. Edmond was content however, with his business not knowing what the future ahead would bring.

The soft muted sounds of guitar strings could be heard on that night as a lone man finished his song, a grin tugging at the corners of his lips. Edmond was out again in dark of the night, sitting on a bench at the park. The wind was chilling and he clothed in warm clothing, there was nothing that could make him feel more alive than then.
Setting aside his guitar in its case, Eddy reached his hand for the hot coffee that he brought with him. Taking a sip from the cup, the man could feel the warmth spreading due to the hot liquid. With a contented sigh, the blue-eyed man gazed out to the scenery once again aware of the loneliness that he felt.
It was fine however; he had his music and his whole life ahead of him. There was never much of romance in his life, except for that few blissful months in his youth. Just thinking about it brought a little happiness to the man, as his grin grew into a full out smile. There was a small part of him that wished for a little excitement though, a little romance to come stumbling down onto him.
But he knew it was just wishful thinking as he took another sip of his hot coffee. Life was not like a romance film and a woman was not going to pop up into his life. The man shook his head at where his line of thoughts was going. He thought it was better to cut that line off before he got too into it. Setting aside the cup of coffee once more, Edmond took his guitar onto his lap and began to sing another tune.
